What was the last book you flung across the room?
The older I get the more irritated I seem to get with books that just don't do it for me - in one way or another. The first book that comes to mind was just an imaginary fling as I was reading it on my iPad. I caved to the pressure and downloaded 50 Shades of Grey. As I began reading it, I couldnt' believe that something like this was so popular. Not only didn't I find it erotic, I thought that plot was weak and couldn't believe how the characters reacted. If I would have had this as a physical book, it most certainly would have gotten tossed somewhere...or burned.
I know I'm in the minority with this one, but so be it. It won't stop me from caving and reading popular books, I just hope that none of them are as bad as this. Wow!
